Requirements for a Bachelor of Science Major in Biology

Basic courses: BIOL 130, 140, 219, 220, 231, 240, 313, 314, 317335 (or 301 or 410), 408430 and an additional four hours of Biology electives. Required courses: CHEM 103, 104, 205, 206; MATH 117, 205; PHYS 201. Substitution for any of these courses requires the written approval of the department chairperson. Biology courses taken in excess of 51 hours will not count toward the minimum 126 hours needed to graduate.
