Nutrition Minor

The minor employs a multi-disciplinary approach to provide a foundation of knowledge in nutrition that may be applicable to a variety of settings, including community-based work and health care. While the minor will not qualify students for most jobs which involve counseling patients or clients that require the full Registered Dietitian (R.D.) preparation, they will be able to communicate effectively with, and coordinate activities with, dietitians or other nutrition professionals.
