BIOL-225

The purpose of this course is to prepare students to take the field studies portion of the class taught in the Bahamas. Students will learn about the various organisms, both plant and animal, that live in the ocean with a major emphasis on the ecology of coral reefs and other tropical ecosystems. This course will include a brief study of oceanography and current environmental issues. Non-science majors are encouraged to take this course.
