Course Description
This course discusses the laws of inheritance with application to the study of biological function at the level of molecules, cells, and multicellular organisms, including humans. Topics include: Mendelian inheritance, gene structure and function, chromosomes and genomes, biological variation resulting from recombination and mutation, and population genetics. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory.
