MAT-597

This course is designed to engage pre-service teachers in deeper learning strategies and high-leverage practices for teaching science in middle and secondary schools. Students will learn and practice pedagogical strategies that promote inquiry-based, learner-centered classrooms for all. Students will learn to design equitable, inclusive, and authentic science learning experiences for diverse student populations. Field observation and teaching demonstrations are required in the course.
