Data are a significant organizational resource and at the core of every business intelligence and data analytics (BIDA) system. Data are crucial to the development of successful analytics and for information system projects. Using leading relational database tools and queries, this course will examine the design and development of databases optimized for transaction processing and query efficiency. We also study the creation of data warehouses and marts designed to extract, transform and load both internal and external data.
