PHIL-329

This course teaches students how to reason well. Students will learn to recognize, construct, and evaluate arguments. They will examine both good and bad reasoning methods and will develop their abilities to analyze information, ask questions, and synthesize their findings. This course prepares students to make connections, recognize the complexities of real-life issues, and draw well-founded conclusions. These skills are essential to responsible citizenship, effective communication, and the capacity for critical reflection.
