Program Description

The Health Care minor reflects the interdisciplinary nature of how the planning, organizing, delivery, financing, and evaluation of health care happens. It requires completing a combination of 18 credit hours from three main academic areas: Health and Aging Services Leadership, Business, and Arts and Sciences. This minor complements other health care majors (e.g., nursing, respiratory therapy, exercise science, medical laboratory science, pre-medical studies, psychology, radiation therapy) as well as majors that could be paired with the minor to give necessary insight into the field of health care (e.g., business administration, accounting, finance, communication, theology).
