BIOL 237 and 408 have always been cross-listed with ENVS 237 and 408. We are uncross-listing them and eliminating the BIOL versions, thus we need to change the prefix to ENVS in the degree requirements for the major.
We are changing the way the elective option is listed in the degree requirements from a general statement saying "4 credit of any other BIOL electives", to a specified list of courses from which students can choose.

Rationale:
To create greater efficiencies in registration, the BIOL 408/ENVS 408 and BIOL 237/ENVS 237 cross-listings are being dissolved, and ENVS 408 and ENVS 237 will be used moving forward.

The revision of the elective options in the Biology B.S. Pre-Professional Track is simply a housekeeping change in order to better clarify the options for fulfilling the requirement. The degree audit program could not accommodate the way the requirement was previously listed.
