Chemistry Major (BA degree)

The Bachelor of Arts degree is designed to meet the needs of those students interested in chemistry and its numerous applications in diverse fields such as biology, physics, geology, and environmental science. It is an appropriate degree program for students pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, forensic science, biotechnology, law, or science education. It is also an appropriate degree for students seeking a career in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. The Chemistry B.A. may be coupled with the early entry MAT program for secondary and/or middle school education.
