Health Care Administration Major

The Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration includes a comprehensive didactic review plus an experiential learning requirement (internship) that is 1,000 contact hours (10 credit hours completed at an approved provider site or multiple sites). Completing the requirements of this major qualifies a graduate to take the licensing examination required by NAB (recognized in all 50 states plus Washington, DC and US Territories) to operate a nursing home or skilled nursing facility (and, in a growing number of jurisdictions, other types of post-acute care services).
