The RFMS minor requires 18 credits hours as outlined below:
HIST 220 Introduction to Refugee and Forced Migration Studies (3 cr hrs);
Plus 15 credit hours of electives chosen from:

ENGL 337 Contemporary Caribbean Literature
GEOG 175 Introduction to Human Geography
HIST 320 Modern Africa
HIST 321 The Modern Middle East
HIST 327 Modern Latin America and Caribbean History
HIST 415 Arab-Israeli Conflict
HIST 424 Genocide: A Comparative History
HIST 445 Internship in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies
PS 325 International Relations
PS 419 Public Policy
THEO 307 World Religions
THEO 335 Theology from the Margins
Note:
No more than six hours in any discipline may count for the minor.
HIST 220 and HIST 445 do not count toward the six-hour limit in History courses.
Other special topics courses may be approved by the director on a course substitution basis.
